I am wondering what the legal implications are of re-using php source code from the user comments of the online php manual. The user comments for the "unlink" function include a nice function that i would like to use in my application, but I don't want to violate any ethical codes or get my employer in legal hot water if I use it without permission. I couldn't find any information in the the license information, except that user comments are covered by the same license as the manual itself. Are code samples in the PHP manual open to free use?
