Hey all,
We need to make a decision regarding the future of Helgi's changelog

There's bugs:

exploitable or not at a glance.
My suggestions here:
-
- Alter the storage on the bug table, add a column:
'rendered_html_changelog (text/varchar)'.
- Remove all of the hacky searching of the comments, mak

Hello,
I was curious if there would be an option to login and visit a package, for
example: PEAR or MDB2. From here we could save that package as a "favorite".
This would be so nice to have and then show details based on our favorites
such as when the package was last updated (at the least). I believe this
would be a nice feature and would certainly help speed things up for me.

Error initializing Image_Text
Hello,
I'm a first-time PEAR user and I'm stuck trying to figure out this
error. The examples I tried for the Text_CAPTCHA package give this
common error:
" Error generating CAPTCHA: Error initializing Image_Text (Fontfile not
found or not readable.)! "
The imageOptions array attributes 'COUR.TTF' as the 'font_file'.
Since this is a bit new to me, I'm not even sure of the right question
to ask....
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm wondering if we should use the CI box as pear mirror or not.
On one hand, we do have the box and plenty of space on it. And I already se=

Hi all,
While setting up our new CI box and the pearweb test instance on it, I
failed to configure the DSN for pearweb. This is because $_ENV is used
to determine all settings in include/pear-config.php.
We already failed to do so for PEAR_BOX and switched to
$_SERVER['PEAR_BOX'] because that allows us to set the variables in
apache's configuration file.
What I propose is to do the same for every other setting in
pear-config.php that uses $_ENV. Objections?

Site suggestion for pear.php.net
Good Morning
I just stumbled across your site and thought it was nice . We have a very
similar demographic in terms of users.
That said, I would be interested in some sort of advertising on your site,
is this something that you offer?
I am one of the directors of Web Hosting Search, which reviews hosting
providers and has tutorials(written and video) as well as an active blog
community, and so I feel that our working together could be great for our
sites.
I look forward to discussing this further with you.

Have we...
- screwed up the version of pear Mail we're using? (
http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=8723)
- offended the mailing list queue process in some other mystery way?
I have no access to the machine myself at the moment, and am refuse to ask
newlyweds to do anything.
So, bjori, bbieber, cellog, davidc, derick, helgi, mj, and or philip; any
thoughts?

XHTML, or HTML 5

Hey, Helgi, this is probably aimed at you more than anyone else, but:
Swapping pear back to xhtml rather than html5 - thoughts, objections, ideas?
My main reasons:
- I can do neat things with RDFa
- XHTML is stable
- If there's benefits to HTML5, we aren't using them yet as far as I can
see, and a lot of the spec seems very much in flux.
The downsides, obviously: xhtml strict + rdfa = hard to maintain, a lot of
effort, etc.

Hi all, especiall izi and rquadling,
The patch for bug #16320 is not retrievable, and I tried to find out:
http://pear.php.net/bugs/patch-display.php?bug_id=3D16320&patch=3D16320patch
There is no file for that patch on harddisk, which is .. strange.
Richard, did you get any error while uploading?

Bug submission for Services_W3C_HTMLValidator
--00163646d5c4a66891046b57c93e
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
I logged a bug for Services_W3C_HTMLValidator, and I was given the following
URL to click that was supposed to send a verification email, but it hasn't
come through: -
https://pear.php.net/bugs/resend-request-email.php?handle=%23b98963084ff8dd51a7d
Can this please be resolved ? I'd really like the bug I submitted to make
it through, as I spent a fair bit of time on it ;)
Thanks,
Ash.
